Types of Massage Therapy We Offer
Each session is customized to meet your specific needs, whether you're seeking full-body relaxation or focused pain relief.
Swedish /
Relaxation MassageIdeal for reducing stress and promoting overall relaxation. Using light to medium pressure and long, smooth strokes, this classic massage increases circulation and targets surface-level muscle tension. Often completed in 60 minutes for a full-body experience.
Deep Tissue Massage
Our deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Using firm pressure, stripping techniques, cross friction and trigger point therapy, this method breaks down adhesions and scar tissue that can limit mobility and cause pain.
Trigger Point Therapy
A focused technique to release tight bands of muscle, scar tissue, and adhesions. Excellent for treating localized pain or muscle knots. This technique can be used in combination with other techniques or on its own.
Sports Massage
Designed for athletes or active individuals, this massage promotes faster recovery, prevents injuries, and supports peak performance. A combination of techniques may be used depending on the type of injury or the goal of the massage.
Adhesion
Massage therapy helps reduce scar tissue adhesion (Scar tissue that forms between tissues and organs, abnormally joining them together) by improving circulation and promoting tissue flexibility
Prenatal Massage
Specially designed for expectant mothers, this massage promotes relaxation, reduces swelling, and improves circulation. We offer pregnancy pillows for maximum comfort—just let us know during booking.
Cupping Therapy
An ancient healing technique that uses suction to stimulate blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promote recovery in problem areas. Our massage therapist, Marie, is trained in cupping.
Graston Technique
A specialized type of IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) that uses instruments to aid in locating and treating tissue restrictions, often called knots, by using cross fiber friction, scraping, and stretching.
Scar Tissue
Fascia or connective tissue that has become largely dense and fibrous.
Trigger Point Therapy
Direct pressure on pain points to relieve tension.
Muscle Stripping
Massage strokes follow the muscle fibers to reduce tightness.
Cross Friction
Massage stokes perpendicular to the fibers for deeper release.
